Name:Lilystar
Age: 34 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan, Tribe, or Rogue: ShadowClan
Rank: Leader
Picture:Clicketh!
Appearance:
Lilystar has a long, pale gray almost blue, fur coat that she is constantly grooming. Her eartips are darker gray, and her ears are rather large, which she hates! Most of her body is slightly tabbied, but not greatly so. Her eyes are a beautiful blue, which rises to a pure, untouched green, that accents her fur beautifully. She would be a very beautiful cat if she wasn't so skinny, and she does her best to overcome this problem with constant grooming. Speaking of beautiful, her face is all angles, which might look terribly angry and upsetting, even on another cat, but seems peaceful, gentle, maybe beautiful on her. One thing is for sure, this is the feature that first jumps out at other cats when they see her. On her face, her fur is shorter, almost bristly. Her nose is a pale pink, and soft, like flower petals.
Her lithe, skinny body is swift, and she takes great pride in her running abilities. Her small size also makes her faster. This is a disadvantage in battle though, as larger cats can overpower her easily. Luckily, she has escaped from these battles with only a few scratches, no lasting or disfiguring injuries. Consequently she has no scars. This is unusual for a leader. She has an extremely long tail that helps her keep her balance, and which is her pride and joy. Ask her which of her features she likes best, and that is what she'd tell you. She knows that without it she'd be half of what she currently is. Her paws are small, to go along with her size and nothing really special. She constantly has a smile on her face, which makes her seem all the more beautiful.
Personality:
Lilystar is very decisive and sure of herself. She is also very smart. One thing she will not do is form attachments to other cats. She has been hurt too often. She makes false friendships and sticks to them for her own benefit, even though she never forms permanent relationships. She loves kits, and wishes she could have her own but knows she can't. It would jeopardize her the position of leader, and she'd have to become attached to somebody. She often puts away these thoughts to better be leader, and they hardly ever come up. She is quick to anger, but usually can control her anger well. She is determined to make Shadowclan strong; stronger than all the other clans combined. She is focused and will never lose sight of her goals. Patience is a word that means nothing to her. Wait? Her? Ha. You'd be extremely lucky if she did. She is deeply scarred by the losses of her parents and sister, which greatly changed her personality. She is a bit of a loner, but has still managed to lead Shadowclan well, keeping everything securely under her caring paw.
History:
Lilystar was born on a cheerful, warm day in the middle of Green-Leaf to a ShadowClan she-cat along with two siblings, one male, one female. She was the eldest. Her brother soon died, to her dismay. Unknown to her and her sister, it was what everycat had been expecting from the start, as he was a tiny sickly kit. Her mother named her Lilykit because she was fond of lilies. The two sisters grew and thrived, happy in each others company. Shadekit, her sister, wasn't nearly as outgoing as she was, and was content just to follow Lilykit's lead. This made her very happy, as she loved to have other cats follow her. Nothing bad befell them in all their misadventures, and they grew up in peace, happy in the only way of life they had ever known. They had no way of knowing things were soon to change.
Lilykit and Shadekit soon became apprentices. They were proud of this, and devoted their whole life to becoming warriors. Lilypaw was better suited to this life than her sister, however and Shadepaw soon became tired of training. She started slacking; and leaving camp whenever she could. One day Lilypaw followed Shadepaw on one of these trips. Her sister went straight to the nests of the Two-Legs. Waiting in the forest as her sister approached the nest, she watched as one of the ugly pink creatures opened up the nest and put something in front of Shadepaw. Her sister quickly bent her head down and started eating! Lilypaw was dismayed. Shadepaw was acccepting food from the Two-Legs. The leader would have to be told! She rushed back to camp, and immediately told him all she had found out. He was not happy with Shadepaw. When she returned she was offered a choice. Go and live with the two-Legs forever, and eat their food; or stay and hunt for her own, staying away from the two-Legs. Shadepaw opted to stay with the Two-Legs, and Lilypaw gave her sister a tearful goodbye. This loss had devastated her world, and she wasn't sure she could recover. Even so she continued her training. The leader; Eaglestar told her that she could still visit her sister from time to time. At this she cheered up somewhat.
Soon it was her time to have her warrior assessment. Beforehand she was frightened out of her skin, but once she had started she felt an odd sense of peace. She was doing what she was meant to do; nothing more. Many cats had survived this simple task. She quickly found a mouse and caught it, and the assessment went as planned. She was now a warrior. As a warrior she served her clan well, and was happy. She still missed her sister; but the pain had lessened since having her assessment. Then her parents died of old age, which hurt her, but made her determined to serve her clan well. She quickly rose to the rank of leader, and when the old leader died of old age she became leader.
RP Sample:
Sighing as she finished up organizing a patrol, Lilystar thought of Cloudwhisker, and of his practically asking her to follow him. Why? she thought Why does he want to talk to me. He's already got Dewstream, and she's much better than I am. Does he need something from his leader? But if that was it he'd come right out and ask her here. Making up her mind, she finally decided to follow him, and see what he wanted.Maybe it was important. Or maybe, as in her dreams, he actually liked her. She hoped that was it, but she knew it wasn't true. There was no reason. Was there? Walking into the woods she continued pondering the reason for this conversation. She didn't know why she liked him, but she knew that she did. Would loving him be against her rules? Yes, it would, but right now she didn't care. All she thought about was Cloudwhisker.
Reaching the pool, Lilystar started having her doubts. What if this wasn't what she hoped it was. What if he hated her? What would she do then? Calming her fears, she walked toward Cloudwhisker. Showing no outward sign of her emotion she walked right up to him and asked "Why did you ask me to come here?" Hoping the answer would be what she wanted she tried to keep her body still, emotionless.
